Disco Parisienne - Heavyweight
Following the thread of our surf club in Kathmandu, we drifted far from the Himalayas and straight into a smoky discotheque hidden in the alleyways of Montmartre. The club’s motto, 'pour les âmes perdues' or for the lost souls, welcomes all who enter and embraces guests from every walk of life. The space would pulse with the same energy that moved through Picasso and Van Gogh, and we know it would inspire the next generation of Montmartre creatives.
Naturally, a club with that sort of electricity wouldn’t stay confined to Paris. It would eventually expand to other unique corners of France, from après-ski in Meribel to beach club vibes in Cannes. Our hope? That the same magic born on Montmartre’s cobblestones would survive the journey.
On the tee’s front sits the club’s acronym, MMDT, rendered in Braille. It honors inclusivity, but is also a nod to those late hours of a nightclub where touch becomes the only language that still speaks.
In the chance that life imitates art and the Montmartre Discotheque someday opens, all we ask is a spot on the guest list. Until then, we’ll let the dream live here.
